Vanita Velvet is eigenaar van Dark Velvet en burlesque performer uit Nederland. Op het podium haalt zij de energie uit het publiek, hierdoor ontstaan krachtige acts op het podium. Het is haar lot om zichzelf aan de wereld te laten zien. Vanita neemt haar danstechnieken mee op het podium om ze op een speelse manier aan het publiek te tonen. Zij vind het belangrijk om het publiek te laten zien dat je trots mag zijn op jezelf en te laten zien wie je bent.
